Getting a Free Extra Bracelet through DIY
I feel like everyone has a diy project idea like this that they've been procrastinating since forever..... this is your sign to do it this weekend! 🌸
😖 The Problem:
I had two cheap Chrystal bead bracelets from Amazon that I was gifted. I have small wrists and so both of them were about 3 beads too wide to actually be wearable.
🤓☝️The Solution:
- I cut the elastic string on each bracelet and removed three beads from each.
- Then, I re-stringed both original bracelets with friendship bracelet thread, doing an adjustable knot in the back.
- Then, I had 6 extra beads, which I had removed! Used them to make a THIRD bracelet.
😌 Conclusion:
I do apologize for not having more progress pics of me actually doing the diy, but hopefully you can follow along with what I am saying as well as the Pinterest tutorial. I am posting because I think this diy will fit in with the jewelry challenge that lemon8 is doing rn.
If you have bracelets, or clothes, or idk what else sitting around that is the wrong size and you can fix it with DIY, you should probably go do that since it will be fun 😛
