If you’re looking for a bit of adventure or unique sightseeing, consider a trip to El Pinacate y Gran Desierto de Altar Biosphere Reserve. It’s a UNESCO World Heritage site with incredible volcanic craters and unique desert landscapes – a stark contrast to the beach but absolutely mesmerizing. It adds a whole different dimension to your Rocky Point experience. Another fun option is to explore Cholla Bay, especially if you enjoy kayaking or paddleboarding in calmer waters. Shopping for souvenirs is always on my list. The Malecón is great for handicrafts and trinkets, but there are also several markets where you can haggle for pottery, blankets, and unique Mexican art. Remember to bring cash for better deals! And of course, don't forget the relaxation aspect. Many resorts offer spas and pools where you can unwind.
