No nanny or extra help, how!?
Instagram is all fake but there’s this mom in my mom and toddler class who’s actually thriving. She’s a SAHM with two kids, both terrible sleepers (wake up at the crack of dawn), no nanny or extra help. Her oldest goes to daycare a few mornings a week, but the little one’s home full-time.
And yet, she brings sugar-free, gluten-free waffles for all the kids in our group, says she whips up waffles, pancakes, or muffins daily. She’s visited every toddler theater in the city (we live in the capital, there are tons), has detailed takes on every playground within 5 km, and spends 2+ hours outdoors with the kids rain or shine.
Meanwhile, if my son woke up at 5am like hers do? He’d be fending for himself for breakfast. To all the moms out there killing it, finding energy even on chaotic days, you’re amazing!
