Book Review

Book name: CREDENCE

Author: Penelope Douglas 💕

Genre: spicy romance

My rating: i give it a 9/10

My review: It was a very slow beginning, with not a lot of spice until i got to chapter 7-8 and than i couldn’t put it down, i finished it within a few hours and was left stunned.

I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND GETTING THROUGH THE FIRST FEW CHAPTERS 🤭

... Read moreIf you enjoy romance novels with a slow-building but intense storyline, Penelope Douglas’ CREDENCE is a great pick. This book takes its time developing characters and tension, which makes the payoff around chapters 7 and 8 especially satisfying. Fans of spicy romance will appreciate how the narrative transitions from a subtle beginning into more passionate and gripping scenes. The story is set against evocative backdrops, and it appears to include references like "Bahamas" and "Credend" as noted in the book’s visual elements, suggesting vibrant settings that complement the romantic drama. This adds an immersive quality to the novel, transporting readers to luxurious or exotic locales which often elevate the romantic atmosphere. Many readers find that sticking through the initial chapters pays off, as the pacing and emotional intensity ramp up significantly. It’s a common experience with Penelope Douglas’ work, where initial slow builds lead to compelling, edge-of-your-seat developments. If you’re someone who appreciates character depth and slow-burn romance that ignites into fiery passion, this book is likely to be a rewarding read. In summary, CREDENCE is ideal for readers who love romance with emotional complexity and a spicy twist. It’s worth pushing past the early chapters to enjoy the full impact of the story, making it a solid 9/10 for those who appreciate this genre.

When starting this book I did think It has a slow start. I also feel as if the Freida did a good job building up the story to where I always had questions about something. I do feel like there is a lot of plot twists and things that I just utterly did not expect to happen. ⭐️Overall rating: 4/5
