HATERS WILL BE HATERS

You know how it is – when you put yourself out there, whether it’s with a new hobby, a creative project, or just living authentically, the 'spectators' and 'haters' inevitably emerge. For a long time, I let those comments really get to me, making me second-guess myself and sometimes even want to quit. But I’ve had a huge shift in perspective, and I truly believe that criticism can actually be a sign of success. Think about it: who gets criticized the most? Usually, it's the people making waves, trying new things, or achieving something noteworthy. If you’re flying under the radar, you probably won’t hear much. So, if people are talking, even negatively, it means you're visible, you're making an impact, and you're not just blending in. That's a huge step forward right there! I remember one time when I was really putting my heart into a personal project, and the feedback from some 'spectators' online was just brutal. It felt like a personal attack. But after a few days of feeling down, I started to analyze it. Was it constructive? Could I actually learn something? Or was it just noise from people who weren't willing to put in the work themselves? I realized a lot of it was the latter – a reflection of their own insecurities or fear of standing out. And that's when it clicked: their negativity wasn't about me failing; it was about me succeeding in being brave enough to try. Now, when I face criticism, I try to reframe it. First, I ask, "Is there any truth here?" If it's constructive, I try to take it on board. But if it's just plain 'hating,' I use it as fuel. It’s like, okay, you’re watching because I’m doing something that makes you uncomfortable or challenges your perception of what’s possible. That only makes me want to push harder and prove to myself that I can do it. Their skepticism becomes my secret motivator. So, if you’re out there putting in the work and encountering some negative 'spectators,' don’t let it derail you. Instead, take a moment to acknowledge that it might just be proof that you're on the right path. True success often comes with a chorus of voices, some cheering, some jeering. Embrace it all, filter what's useful, and let the rest simply fade into the background as you keep moving forward toward your goals. You've got this!
