When we wholeheartedly trust Jesus and live with integrity, we become blameless. Our desire to dwell in His house will grow stronger than our desire to focus on our own feelings. David was willing to submit himself entirely to the Lord’s examination, not out of a sense of perfection, but out of confidence in God's goodness. His trust in the Lord was unwavering.
Though we may not face enemies like David did, we are in a constant battle between our old nature and our new nature in Christ. Let us continue to ask God to examine our hearts and reveal the areas that hinder us, leading us to repentance and instilling in us an unwavering faith in Him. He will justify us.
