Rites of the Starling-Book review ⭐️📚
I read shied of sparrows a couple of months ago and it surprised me how much I actually enjoyed the story, so best believe as soon as I got my hands on the sequel I was picking it up!
Once again this story had me hooked! I love the land of calandra, the monsters and learning about them-especially learning more about the history of them in this book-and the characters are beyond interesting.
Book 2 follows Odessa’s story from exactly where we left it off in book 1. But it also introduces a new character Caspia…and we follow along with her story in between Odessa’s. This concept had me confused throughout, I had so many questions about who she was and what role she played…until it all slotted together in a mindblowing way at the end!🤯
I loved everything about this read and could not put it down if you haven’t read this series you NEED to!
