Finally, I traveled to Colombia, picked her up, and embarked on the journey back home. We had everything ready, including paperwork and provisions for the long flight. However, when we reached the USA and went through immigration, we weren’t asked for any documentation about the puppy. The immigration officer simply said, ‘You can go through.’ I was both surprised and a little annoyed, but regardless, I’m overjoyed to have my sweet baby.
