medicube device x kakao friends 🌼
i recently went to korea and visited the olive young beauty store in myeongdong to purchase the medicube device!!
(you can purchase online but i wanted an in person experience + it’s cheaper to buy in korea)
it was a surprise to come across this kakao friends collaboration edition and since it was the same price as the original i bought this one! :)
for those of you who don’t know what kakao friends is: there’s an app called kakao that most people in korea use to communicate with each other and if you watch k drama you’ve probably seen this (it’s basically like what’s app)
there are different characters that makes up “kakao friends” ryan and choonsik are the most popular characters meanwhile there are 8 characters in total! all the characters can be sent in gifs when chatting with friends (ryan is my favorite) ㅎㅎ there’s even kakao friends printed on taxis and busses! when you visit korea you’ll see ryan everywhere!
