POV: Your Asian Mom is a Productivity App? 😭

I feel so grateful to have a wonderful Asian mom who’s always strict when I study (but it’s actually good for me), especially during exam season.

Now that I’m at university and living away from home, it feels freeing but I still wish she were here to push me to study.

That’s why I love the app called ā€œMomclock appā€.

Its ā€œmom voiceā€ reminders feel just like her, and the app blocking really helps me stay focused.

It’s not just useful it also feels like a little piece of home. Perfect for students studying far away.

✨ Check this app at the link in my bio!

... Read moreAs someone who has experienced living away from home during university, I know how challenging it can be to stay motivated without the familiar presence of family. The Momclock app truly fills that gap by providing gentle yet firm voice reminders that mimic the encouraging, sometimes strict tone many Asian moms use to keep us on track with our studies. This auditory nudge feels so personal and comforting, almost like having a slice of home with you. Beyond just motivation, the app's ability to block distracting applications is a game changer. It’s easy to lose hours browsing social media or watching videos, but Momclock helps create a focused environment by limiting those distractions during set study times. I found that setting up scheduled study sessions with the app not only improved my concentration but also helped me manage my time better, reducing last-minute cramming. Using this app during midterm and final exam seasons made a noticeable difference in my productivity and stress levels. It’s especially helpful for anyone adjusting to university life and learning how to self-regulate their study habits without the physical presence of family. If you’re a student studying far from home, or just someone who needs that extra push to stay focused, I highly recommend giving Momclock a try. It’s more than just an app; it’s like having a caring but disciplined study buddy right in your pocket.
