MBA Manchester 18-month study experience. Why choose this?

Hello, let me write some old stories as a memory today. I'm afraid that time will definitely forget, a little long, but I hope some things will be useful to my friends who are interested in studying for MBA Manchester. 🧐

First: My name is PK. I went to study AMBS2023 for 18 months. And our going objective is to learn to experience and come back to Thailand in the same company. So I have a different goal from my friends who went to study to change the line of work or Relocation. This makes my views and decisions about studying, living, and internship different. For example, we do not choose an internship, but a supplementary course. Therefore, let's leave first that if any friends have internship questions, find a job in England, we may have to ask other alumni instead. 😣

🧐 we apply ourselves or through the agency?

We apply through Hands On, which is Education Consultants, making the application to study, coordinate and find accommodation very convenient. Try to inquire further. www.hands-on.co.th or Line OA: @ handson 👍

🎓 Why choose Manchester?

When it comes to the MBA program at Alliance Manchester Business School (AMBS), which claims to have The Manchester Method. We also remember that the main subjects here are not only theories, but are focused on Consultancy Projects with real companies! It's like a business consultant in different areas according to the problems of the client company.

For us who have always worked on the Education Line, there is only a bit of tapping on the Strategy / Marketing of the work department, so will be impressed with the course a bit because it matches the purpose of learning and experience. It's exactly how to read the series!

📚 3 Pathways to choose!

Let's learn about the full-time MBA. When we go to class in 2021, there will be 3 Pathways. If you look at the illustration above, you will see the main differences:

18 months (we choose like this):

👉 6 Modules

👉 3 Consultancy Projects are divided into business groups:

1️⃣ Not-for-Profit

Commercial Business

3️⃣ International Business

👉 Choose between Internship / 4 Electrtives / 2 Study Tours (Mix any number of credits required by the university)

15 months:

👉 like 18 months, but take extra classes on the way.

👉 end December. No need to renew the accommodation contract.

12 months (currently probably no longer):

👉 Study hard!

👉 Only 2 Consultancy Projects + Personal Finish Projects

People who study for 12 months, as we asked, will graduate and find a job so they don't have to spend extra money. 😎

As for those who study 15 months, they can see that they can study, and 18 months may be too long compared to the increased cost. In which 15 months graduate in December, they do not have to renew their accommodation contract, but also have to find a job before they graduate in order to relocate. 🙂 ↕️

People who study for 18 months spend time as full students, study chill, and have time to build a connection, have a little time to find a job at a cost, but some get a job before the end, or some work part-time before the end, and earn money on the way. 🤑

💭 Why choose 18 months?

Honestly, I just went to study abroad for the first time, I wanted to learn chill, I didn't want to pressure myself, of course I was stressed anyway, but we thought it was normal for college. 😅

🤔 What has been learned.

Doing Consultancy Projects with real companies gives us:

✅ mentoring experience.

✅ understand business in a new way.

✅ try to work on a side that has never been done.

Example of work done: go-to-market strategy and feasibility study

P.S. This is just sharing personal experiences. Friends can update the latest information on the MBA Manchester website.
