Angkor Wat (1150 AD) is the largest temple in the world, and watching the sunrise there is a bucket list experience. If we go back, we would def aim for spring or fall equinox, when the sun rises directly behind the temples.
Ta Prohm (1186 AD) was our favorite temple and it’s famous for being featured in the Tomb Raider film. It’s incredible that this abandoned temple in the middle of the jungle was destroyed by trees taking root in its ruins.
