Shaping
Client came in wanting a shape to complement her curls so I took her from a heavy weighted triangle haircut to a shapelier cut with more of a round look
Washed her hair with Innersense organic wash and conditioner diffused her hair cut and did a second wash and styled with I create lift foam and I create volume gel both from innersense
Completed the look with diffuser and finger coiling
📒Notes: curly hair should not be cut wet! It takes the hair out of its natural shape and you won’t know where the cut lands once it shrinks.
Curly hair should be cut dry and in its natural state to enhance the look. This is more of a visual cut than a structured one Brea
When it comes to shaping curly hair, understanding the unique properties of curls is essential. Curly hair should ideally be cut when dry, preserving its natural texture and shape. This visual approach not only enhances the beauty of the curls but also ensures that the cut complements the client's personal style. Using high-quality products, such as Innersense organic wash and conditioners, helps maintain the integrity of the curls during the styling process. Additionally, tools like diffusers and finger coiling are crucial for defining and enhancing curl geometry. This method prevents shrinkage and ensures that the final look is polished and vibrant. So remember, when it comes to curly hair, dry cutting and expert styling are key!
