Turn your Gifted Collbs into Paid Partnerships!
Steal my strategy to turn Gifted collabs into Paid Partnerships all 2025!
I like to use this three step strategy when a brand reaches out to collab and it’s gifted,
✅ REDIRECT : always redirect the conversation to working together on a paid capacity. And not just your average “at this time I’m only taking paid collabs” start by asking questions “ can you provide your current budget or campaign brief for said deliverables” what are your current KPIs you are looking to reach with this collab” this redirect the conversation in a way you can see how you can serve the brand and show your value as being paid.
✅ Postion New offer : after gathering information from the brand provide at least 2 offers based on their needs making one package higher than the other or offering a package that has a “discount” first time collab incentive. I offered the brand 1850 and the 1450 shown in the video which the brand went with the 1450 option which I was still satisfied with ( gave less content options)
✅ Provide Value in closing: when following up always provide some value the brand can use to trust their decision( past collaborations, results, ROI proof or services you provide like fast turnaround time, hook variety raw footage etc.
Hope this helped!

In the evolving influencer landscape, turning gifted collaborations into paid partnerships is increasingly vital. This process involves strategic negotiation and value presentation to brands. Influencers should first establish a foundation of trust by redirecting conversations from gifted deals to discussing paid options. Asking insightful questions about budgets and campaign goals helps influencers align their offerings with brand expectations. Next, influencers can craft customized packages that appeal to the brand’s current needs, presenting at least two options with varied pricing. This not only demonstrates flexibility but also reinforces the influencer's professional approach. Including a first-time collaboration incentive might sway brands toward more favorable offers. Lastly, providing value during follow-ups is crucial. Influencers should showcase their past successes, share metrics that demonstrate ROI, and offer unique services that set them apart, such as quick turnaround times and the provision of high-quality content. As brands increasingly seek authentic partnerships, mastering these techniques will empower influencers to confidently negotiate better compensation, aligning their work with their value and expertise in the market.
