The journey of a speech-language pathologist (SLP) from 2020 to 2025 has been transformative and fulfilling. Transitioning to online education brought new learning opportunities and challenges, particularly while pursuing a master's degree. In addition, completing a hospital internship allowed for hands-on experience in diverse environments, enhancing clinical skills essential for future roles in the medical field. Working for three years with autistic adults at a university provided invaluable insights into the complexities of speech and communication disorders. This experience not only reinforced the importance of tailored therapy approaches but also highlighted the joy of making a difference in clients' lives. As I embrace the leap into the medical field, I’m actively seeking further training in specialized areas that align with my career goals. Whether it involves advanced clinical techniques or innovative therapy methods, I am dedicated to continuous learning and professional growth. Overall, these five years have not only shaped my professional capabilities but have also deepened my passion for helping others communicate more effectively.
