It often means facing old patterns and consciously choosing to break cycles of hardship or struggle that may have affected previous generations. The concept of "Cycle A breaker" reminds me that healing and growth come from balance—nurturing both emotional strength and practical skills in myself as a parent, so I can pass those gifts along. "Feed both sides" resonates as a metaphor for caring for both the emotional and physical needs of my child, ensuring their development is holistic. Healing out loud, or openly acknowledging our struggles and progress, has been crucial. Sharing these experiences not only helps me stay accountable but also creates a legacy of resilience and understanding for my child. It’s not just about making life easier in a material sense but fostering an environment where my child feels supported and empowered to thrive. Ultimately, the work I do today is an investment—not just in my child’s easier path but in a future where the burdens I once carried can be lifted with love, awareness, and intentionality.
