🐻 Chapter 10: Chances in Exchange "I don't want to go far from my family... but I want to go further for the future.
One day... the opportunity we've been waiting for has arrived.
The chief called us in to talk. The company saw our talent and provided opportunities to grow in higher positions, better positions, more responsibility.
More income and a more stable future.
Sounds like good news... but every opportunity
It doesn't always come with readiness because this opportunity... at the expense of moving to a provincial job.
That means... away from home, away from our loved ones, away from our wives, away from their children, and maybe not seeing their families every day like they did before.
I asked myself, "Is it worth it?"
But finally, I realized that growing up in life
Sometimes it's not just what we get, it's what we have to lose, and one of the most valuable things... is time.
The decision to leave home does not mean that we want to stay away from our family, on the contrary... sometimes we are far away because we want to build a better future for those behind, there may be lonely days, there may be tired days, there may be homesick days, there may be days to go back immediately, but every time we feel discouraged...
We will think of the reasons why we choose to travel on that family day, because sometimes... the farthest journey.
It doesn't start from a long road, but it starts from a decision to say goodbye to the person we love the most.
I don't know what the destination will be, but I know I've been given a chance and I don't want to let my fear stop. I may have to travel a long way today, but I'm not walking alone because every step I take forward... has a family future.
Always travel with me, sometimes at the expense of distance... but if the destination is the better future of our loved ones, sometimes it's worth walking on.
