Seattle Night Tidepooling 🐙🪼

📍Constellation Park in Alki

Check out the online tide charts for negative tide levels and show up at least an hour before low tide

A few days ago we saw that low tide in Alki was -3.5 feet so we headed over to Constellation Park around 10pm to check out the sea life! We saw plenty of sea stars, crabs, tiny blue shrimp, nudibranchs, and anemones. Some of them even glowed under black light.

Our favorite find was this never ending field of crabs 🦀

If you’re in seattle you definitely need to check out these tide pools at least once!

Things you’ll need:

• tall rain boots or waders

• a bright flashlight

• optional black light

• warm clothes

• respectful energy
