Khun Suan said to Bangkok people on the last day of the campaign that Thai politics is having a negative image. The congressman is using money. The congressman is from buying positions, and he asks the people to choose good people and choose good political parties.

The problem is not with the word "good guy."
The problem is that people say

Because every time the Democratic Party talks about goodness, about honesty, about political cleanliness, many people think back to the history of the Party.

Much to the thought of Merit, Zirinwugul, former deputy secretary of the party, who set the first red card record after the 1997 Constitution and was sentenced by the Supreme Court to actual imprisonment in a voice-buying case.

Think of the cases of Thep Tai Senpong and Manosh Senpong that ended in prison and the disqualification of political rights.

Think of the words of the former deputy leader of the party who said:
"Democrats are the party that spends the most on election money."

When this quote came out of the party itself, it was not an attack from the opponents, but a crack caused by the people of the same house.

Moreover, Democrats are a party that likes to pose as a defender of clean hypocrisy, but history is not as pure as it tries to tell.

A government led by the people of the Democrats had previously been in power. The Democrats had already boycotted the election 3 times.

And for the past 30 years, the party has never won a national election again.

So people don't care if "Democrats are a good party," but care if "Democrats still have enough credibility to use the term good party to judge others."

Because political goodness is not measured by advertising, by using an old jeep, by living in a small rental house, and not by the image created in front of the camera.

But measured by performance, measured by responsibility, and measured by acceptance of the truth itself.

As one party has a history full of blotches not unlike the other, declaring itself a monopoly on good, the public feels more out of line "well-off" than moral good.

จากประสบการณ์ส่วนตัวที่ติดตามการเมืองไทยมานาน ผมพบว่าแนวคิดเรื่อง "คนดี" ในการเลือกตั้งไม่ได้เป็นตัวชี้วัดความน่าเชื่อถือของพรรคการเมืองอย่างแท้จริง ปัญหาสำคัญคือใครเป็นผู้พูด และประวัติศาสตร์ของพรรคการเมืองนั้นๆ ที่ถูกบันทึกไว้ในสังคม เช่นเดียวกับพรรคประชาธิปัตย์ที่พยายามวางตัวเป็นผู้พิทักษ์ความซื่อสัตย์และความดี แต่กลับเผชิญกับความจริงที่ว่า พรรคเต็มไปด้วยประวัติการณ์ที่ขัดแย้งและคดีที่แสดงให้เห็นถึงการใช้เงินซื้อเสียง รวมถึงปัญหารอยแตกภายในพรรคเอง ซึ่งสะท้อนว่าการประกาศตัวว่า "เลือกคนดี เลือกพรรคดี" นั้นอาจไม่เพียงพอในการดึงดูดความเชื่อมั่นจากประชาชน ประสบการณ์ตรงจากชาวบ้านหลายคนที่เคยสังเกตการณ์การเลือกตั้งบอกว่า การเลือกพรรคและผู้แทนที่มีความซื่อสัตย์และโปร่งใสจริงนั้นต้องดูจากผลงานที่สามารถพิสูจน์ได้และความรับผิดชอบที่แสดงออกมาอย่างชัดเจน ไม่ใช่เพียงคำพูดหรือภาพลักษณ์สมถะที่สร้างขึ้นเพื่อการหาเสียง นอกจากนี้การยอมรับความจริงของตนเองเมื่อเกิดข้อผิดพลาด ก็เป็นสัญญาณที่บ่งบอกถึงความจริงใจในการทำงานเพื่อประชาชน ในทางปฏิบัติ ความชัดเจนในการดำเนินงานและความตรงไปตรงมาของตัวแทนผู้แทนราษฎร รวมถึงประวัติที่สะอาดปราศจากการทุจริตหรือพฤติกรรมไม่เหมาะสม ถือเป็นสิ่งสำคัญที่ควรพิจารณาก่อนตัดสินใจเลือกตั้ง การเมืองที่ดีจึงไม่ได้เกิดจากการโฆษณาหรือคำพูดวาจาที่หวานหู แต่มาจากความสม่ำเสมอในการทำงานเพื่อประโยชน์ของประชาชนและการเผชิญหน้ากับความจริงอย่างตรงไปตรงมา ท้ายที่สุด การเลือกพรรคการเมืองควรตระหนักถึงประวัติศาสตร์และผลงานจริงของพรรค รวมถึงประพฤติปฏิบัติของผู้แทน ประชาชนควรมีส่วนร่วมในการตรวจสอบและตั้งคำถามอย่างสร้างสรรค์เพื่อให้การเมืองไทยเดินไปข้างหน้าอย่างมั่นคงและโปร่งใส
