truly it’s all going to work out no matter what
You know what’s hilarious? I used to think detachment meant floating above my life like some enlightened monk who drinks moonlight and never gets annoyed.
But apparently it just means not trying to micromanage the universe like it is my unpaid intern.
Aparigraha really said, “Hey queen, what if you unclench for once?”
And honestly, I took that personally.
Because why wouldn’t I try to plan the plot twist, cast the characters, set the soundtrack, and choose the lighting?
But life has been humbling me one cosmic curveball at a time and at this point I am like, “Fine, maybe I will stop fighting the script.”
The wild thing is that the second I stop gripping the storyline, things actually go better.
Like the universe is in the corner whispering, “Finally, she put the clipboard down.”
So here I am, practicing the art of releasing my attachment to how I think things should go.
Not because I am suddenly chill, please do not get it twisted,
but because every time I loosen my grip, life shows up with something smoother, sweeter, or way less complicated than whatever I was trying to force.
Anyway, here is to trusting the plot even when it looks messy or nonlinear or written by someone who clearly loves drama.
Apparently the universe does know what it is doing.
I am as shocked as you are.
✨🫶 Letting go, laughing through it, and choosing peace even when chaos tries to flirt with me.
