Going through the pain

Dealing with loss is always gonna be hard but unexpected loss is a different level of grief. Since the news it's been real hard to find motivation to keep going in general

Monday I tried so hard to get up but I couldn't. I'm a person who has to actively work on not falling back into a depressive state. I laid around and tried to sleep for days...today was almost the same thing but I had to remind myself that's not what Paw would want.

He never wanted to see us sad and depressed and would want us to keep going.

I got a late start but I did get up. My mind has been going a million miles a minute so I didn't even know what I wanted to do. I decided to stick with upper body just bc it doesn't require much thought on my end.

I did 3 sets of about 10-12 for everything and used 10 and 15 pound dumbbells.

I'm sure every day will come with new emotions and feelings as I try to navigate this loss, so if I don't post just know I'm trying my best to adjust and I haven't given up.

This is just a friendly reminder that no matter what life throws your way you have to fight back and don't let it win especially when you have someone in Heaven who wouldn't want you're life to stop behind them. Life truly is a crazy journey but you have to make the best of it while you are here because sadly we won't make it out alive.

Love ya'll ❤️

... Read moreNavigating grief is a profoundly personal journey, and each day can bring a mix of emotions. It's important to remember that physical activity, even in small doses, can be a vital part of managing one’s mental health during tough times. Engaging in upper body workouts, as I did with 10 and 15-pound dumbbells, can serve as a welcome distraction and a source of empowerment. Incorporating routines such as this can help maintain physical strength while also fostering emotional resilience. Experts often suggest blending strength training with mindfulness practices to strengthen both body and mind. Acknowledging your feelings, writing about them, or even discussing them with supportive friends can also provide comfort. It's essential to honor the memory of those we've lost by living vibrantly and pursuing our passions. Whether it's through fitness or another outlet, focusing on personal growth can bring solace amidst sorrow. Remember, it’s okay to seek help; you don’t have to navigate grief alone.
