Ok so my bf and I stumbled across this gem of a story ( **more like I started listening and he overheard me one day and joined😂😂) and boy do I have some thoughts. I’m not going to summarize too much but I will say it touches on some real life issues like self sabotage, infidelity, infertility and divorce. So it definitely did tug on the heart strings. And was overall a decent read.

To start my bf gave it a solid 7/10. soft 8. The back and forth in time kinda threw him off a bit, but he eventually got REALLY invested. And listening to this together brought up some very impromptu conversations that were actually very reassuring.

However, I rated it a 4/10, bc I have never wanted someone to end up sad and alone so bad, like guys i truly don’t like that lady. My whole issue with our leading lady, is that she was very meticulous and intentional with how she’d act but she was also very self aware. Meaning she knew doing x,y,z would make him feel a ways and still did it. She knew that SHE was the problem and still wanted to stay silent and hope for better…..like girl👀??? The book literally made me so mad bc why do all that work when you can literally just TALK TO EACH OTHER!!!!….lemme calm down
