Chocolate chunk + pretzel cookies !

These copycat cookies of Levain Bakery in nyc are so delicious and fudgy !!

Ingredients:

• 125g cold butter, cubed

• 125g light brown sugar

• 100g granulated sugar

• 1 egg

• 250g of all purpose flour

• 1 tsp baking powder

• dark chocolate chunks

• milk chocolate chunks

• your preferred pretzels

Recipe:

1. In a large bowl, add your cold, cubed butter(125g), light brown sugar(125g), and granulated sugar(100g). Mix. You should still see small chunks of butter. Don’t overmix.

2. Next add your egg(1) and combine gently. Avoid overmixing.

3. Gradually add the all purpose flour(250g) and baking powder (1 tsp). Folding it with a wooden spoon or spatula.

4. Combine the dark chocolate, milk chocolate, and pretzels into the dough.

5. Chill the dough for about 1 1/2 - 2 hours so the flavor will be stronger.

6. After chilled, roll the dough into a pine cone shape, this will make the cookie thick and fudgy. Each cookie should be about 130g.

7. Preheat your oven to 350F and bake cookies for about 17-20 minutes or until outside looks crispy and golden brown.

8. Finally after your cookies have baked, let them cool for about 15 mins

9. Enjoy !!
