What goes on in my head every session 🥹🤍 #newbornposing #studiophotoshoot #newbornphotos #sweetestsnaps @Abby🐝
Every time I prepare for a newborn photoshoot, my mind is a whirlwind of considerations to ensure both safety and beauty in each image. Newborn posing is an art that requires patience, gentleness, and an intuitive understanding of each baby's unique temperament. From selecting the right props to adjusting lighting for the softest, most flattering glow, every detail contributes to creating timeless portraits. One thing I find invaluable is creating a calm environment. Soft music, a warm room, and a soothing atmosphere help newborns relax, making posing much easier. I always keep in mind that the baby’s comfort comes first; sometimes that means pausing for feeding, soothing, or simply letting them settle before continuing. Using the studio setting allows me to control lighting and background, which is essential to capture those delicate newborn features beautifully. I love experimenting with different wraps, blankets, and beanbags to create cozy, sweetsnaps that parents will cherish forever. Another key thought during each session is the story the parents want to tell. Whether it’s highlighting tiny fingers and toes, sleepy yawns, or the special bond between siblings, I aim to incorporate those personal moments to make the photos truly meaningful. Lastly, every session leaves me feeling grateful and connected—knowing these precious memories will last a lifetime is incredibly rewarding.
