私が行った日は、高岡大仏の観光ついでに「食べ歩き（というより軽めのランチ）」目的で寄りました。場所はサカサカ2階で、初めてだと入口が少し迷いやすいので、ブロックに「サカサカ」と書いてあるのを目印にすると探しやすいです。車の人はSパーキング高岡本町が使えるので、天気が悪い日でも比較的動きやすいのが助かりました。 たまご日和の推しポイントは、やっぱり青森県産の「十六代真っ赤卵」。名前の通り黄身の色が濃くて、たまご系メニューを頼むと“卵が主役”って感じがはっきり分かります。私はレビューでよく見かける「贅沢卵でつくる ぎゅっとサンド」系の中から、ぎゅう肉サンドを選びました。ブラックペッパーとマスタードが効いていて、濃厚なたまごと甘辛い牛肉のバランスが良いです。しっかりお腹にたまるので、食べ歩きの途中で「小腹満たし」のつもりだと想像以上に満足するかも。 スイーツは月替わりのおもちパイが楽しくて、行く時期で味が変わるのがリピートしたくなるポイント。私は栗＆あんこのタイミングに当たって、和の甘さとパイの香ばしさが相性抜群でした。ドリンクはバナナジュースを合わせると、食事系サンドの後でもデザート感覚で締められて良かったです。 高岡大仏周辺はお店が点在しているので、ついでに寄り道するなら、私は「ひらき昆布店」みたいな乾物・昆布系のお店もチェックして、家用のお土産を買う流れが好きです。甘いもの→しょっぱいもの→お土産、の順で回ると満足度が高め。 最後に、支払いは現金とPayPay対応。席数や混み具合は日によるので、時間に余裕を持って行くのがおすすめです。次はフレンチトーストか、たまごロールも狙っています。
