私が行った「チーコ食堂」は、魚津市にある新しい食堂。元・駄菓子屋さんをリノベーションして昨年12月にオープンしたそうで、店内はどこか懐かしくて“ほっとする”空気感でした。写真を撮りたくなる小さなポイントも多く、定食とお惣菜が並ぶ感じが家庭的で落ち着きます。 気になるメニューは、ランチが平日と土曜のみで、定食は大きく5種類（限定10食の日替わり、ハンバーグ、とりむね唐揚げ、ひれかつ、紅しゃけ）。この「日替わりから定番まで」選べるのが嬉しくて、迷ったらまず日替わりをチェックするのがおすすめです。私が食べた日替わりはエビフライとヒレカツのMIXで、衣がサクサク。揚げ物なのに重すぎず、最後まで美味しく食べられました。同行者のハンバーグも少し味見したのですが、手作りっぽい優しい味で、ごはんが進む系でした。 「魚津で夕食どうしよう？」という時にも使いやすいのが、15:30〜19:00の営業枠があるところ（※日曜は12:00〜19:00）。しかも昼飲みもOKなので、軽く一杯＋定食やお惣菜でまったり…みたいな過ごし方もできます。お惣菜の販売もあるので、時間がない日は“惣菜だけ購入”できるのも助かります。 また、検索でよく見かける「魚津 スープカレー」目的の方は、来店前にその日の提供状況をお店のSNSやカレンダーで確認しておくと安心です（定休日もお店のカレンダー基準）。 アクセス面では駐車場ありですが、場所や停め方の案内はお店のInstagramに出ているとのこと。混みそうな日は相乗りで行くとスムーズでした。支払いは現金・PayPay対応。 ウオッセ21周辺でレストランを探している人にも、車移動なら候補に入れやすい距離感だと思います。次は別の定食（紅しゃけや唐揚げ）と、お惣菜もテイクアウトしてみたいです。
