Latto pregnant, me too—what’s in the water lately
Latto’s pregnant, I’m pregnant—at this point, it’s looking like baby season for the whole world #bakingseason #babyannouncement #prego #lattopregnant
Okay, so when I saw Latto's pregnant news, I literally thought, 'Wait, me too!' It really makes you wonder, what's in the water lately that everyone's getting pregnant? It feels like the whole world is in a collective baby boom, and I'm right there in the thick of it! This whole experience sometimes feels like I'm starring in my own little 'pregnant skit.' You know, those moments that are so wild, funny, or just plain absurd that you can't help but laugh? From the sudden, uncontrollable cravings for pickles and ice cream at 3 AM to the emotional rollercoaster that can switch from crying at a commercial to bursting into laughter over absolutely nothing – it's a ride! One day, I found myself trying to put on my shoes and realized my belly was now a significant obstacle. It was like a scene out of a comedy film! Or the time I burst into tears because the grocery store didn't have my specific brand of artisanal cheese. My partner just stared, trying to figure out if it was a joke or genuine distress. It was genuine distress, thanks to those lovely pregnancy hormones! These are the moments that truly make you think, 'Is this real life, or am I just part of some elaborate sketch?' And let's not forget the 'baby brain.' I've walked into rooms and completely forgotten why I went there more times than I can count. My keys have a new hiding spot every other day, and important appointments often need multiple reminders. It's endearing, I guess, but also incredibly frustrating when you're trying to function in the adult world. It's almost like a running gag that only other pregnant people truly understand. Then there's the unsolicited advice. Oh, the advice! Everyone suddenly becomes an expert on pregnancy, childbirth, and parenting. From what I should eat, to how I should sleep, to how many layers the baby will need in summer – it's a constant stream. While well-intentioned, some of it is so contradictory or outlandish that it feels straight out of a sitcom. I've learned to smile, nod, and then do whatever feels right for me and my body. Embracing these 'skit' moments has actually made my pregnancy journey so much more enjoyable. Instead of getting frustrated, I try to find the humor in it. Sharing these anecdotes with friends and family, especially those who've been there, creates a wonderful sense of camaraderie. It's a reminder that while every pregnancy is unique, there are so many universally funny and relatable experiences that connect us all. So, if you're also feeling like you're part of this big 'baby season' production, I'd love to hear your funny stories too!
