Protection, not rejection.
A closed door often interrupts momentum, but it also interrupts potential harm. It prevents misalignment. It blocks environments where your growth would have withered. It shields you from dynamics you were not designed to survive.
At the time, it feels personal. It feels unfair. It feels like something was taken from you.
But sometimes the door closes because the room beyond it is on fire, and you cannot yet see the smoke. That closed door preserved your energy. It protected your future.
It forced you onto a path that required courage instead of comfort.
And in hindsight, you will realize:
it didn’t stop your life, it saved it.
