Don’t Skip the Prayer
Have you ever had someone cross your mind, and for whatever reason, you didn’t stop to pray for them? I have. Too many times. And later, when things came up where they were concerned, I wished I had been more intentional.
Prayer is powerful, not because it always changes the outcome the way we want, but because it positions God’s will in the situation, and it changes us, too.
Today, I want to challenge you: think of someone God might be calling you to pray for. Pause. Pray for them right now. Don’t let laziness or busyness rob them, or you, of the power of prayer.
Even a few heartfelt words can make a difference. Sometimes, the small act of stopping to pray is exactly what God needs from you in that moment.
Let’s not wait. Let’s pray.
“The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” James 5:16
