T's Tip of the Day

... Read moreHey everyone! I'm so thrilled about 2025 because it's shaping up to be an incredible year for stargazers like us. You know how much I love looking up at the night sky, and next year promises some truly unforgettable celestial shows. When I heard about the '12 BEST ASTRONOMY EVENTS OF 2025,' I immediately started marking my calendar, and I want to share some tips so you can too! First off, let's talk about those spectacular meteor showers. There's just something magical about watching streaks of light dance across the dark canvas of space. To get the best view, I always try to find a spot away from city lights – the darker, the better! A comfy reclining chair, a warm blanket, and a thermos of hot cocoa are my go-to essentials. Remember to give your eyes at least 20-30 minutes to adjust to the dark; it makes a huge difference in spotting those fainter meteors. I'm already looking forward to the Perseids in August and the Geminids in December, usually offering the most impressive displays. Then we have the awe-inspiring solar and blood moon eclipses. These are truly once-in-a-lifetime (or at least, once-in-a-few-years) events! For a solar eclipse, safety is paramount. Never look directly at the sun without certified eclipse glasses or a proper solar filter for your telescope/binoculars. I learned this the hard way once almost burning my retina with a cheap pair! For a blood moon (total lunar eclipse), it's much safer and just as breathtaking. The moon takes on a gorgeous reddish hue, a sight that always leaves me speechless. Keep an eye out for potential dates in 2025 for both types – they're worth planning a trip around if you're in the path of totality. And who can forget the mesmerizing planet parades and planetary conjunctions? It's amazing to see multiple planets align in the sky or appear incredibly close to each other. These events are fantastic for beginners because you often don't need any special equipment beyond your own eyes or a simple pair of binoculars. I love using stargazing apps on my phone to help me identify which planets I'm looking at and when they'll be at their brightest or closest. It adds another layer of excitement to the experience. Sometimes Jupiter and Saturn put on a real show, and Venus is always a dazzling sight. To make sure you don't miss any of these 'astronomy date' opportunities, I always recommend checking a reliable astronomy calendar online as 2025 approaches. Many sites offer detailed maps and times. My biggest tip? Don't stress too much about perfect conditions. Even a partially clouded night can offer glimpses, and the joy is in the attempt and the connection to something so much bigger than us. Happy stargazing!

#1 Tip to becoming a softer version of yourself✨
The number 1 way to become a softer version of yourself is …… SELF CARE ✨✨✨✨✨ Now, I know that term gets thrown around a lot these days, but hear me out. Selfcare isn't just about treating yourself to a spa day or indulging in a pint of ice cream (although those things are nice too).
