Hidden Thai Garden Restaurant in NYC!

📍Bua Thai Ramen & Robata Grill

Today, we were a bit indecisive about where to eat, so we pulled up maps and stumbled upon this gem in uptown with 3800+ reviews and a 4.6⭐️ rating—we had to check it out!

The ambience is amazing, with vines all around—feels like you’re dining in a secret garden. Although, my friend with a stuffed nose wasn’t the biggest fan of the outdoor vibe. 😅

Here’s what we had:

• Drinks: They have super tropical vibes, with drinks served in fruit shells. I loved the watermelon one, and the coconut soda was a fun twist!

• Crispy pork belly with papaya salad: Amazing! Tangy, spicy, and refreshing—perfect for cleansing the palate.

• Fried sushi: Definitely a crowd favorite here, blending a bit of fusion with Thai flavors.

For the main dishes:

• Green curry with crispy duck: A classic! The curry is rich and spicy with coconut milk. The duck was perfectly crispy and paired so well with the bamboo shoots and green beans.

• Green noodles: A house special! The noodles were smooth and flavorful, with veggies and a bit of blue crab that had no fishy taste at all. We finished it off with a hot soup—total comfort food!

Mango sticky rice wasn’t the best, but everything else was outstanding.

Definitely worth the trip if you’re craving a fun, flavorful Thai experience! 🌿
