Las Palabras de Mamá 💜
"She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue." — Proverbs 31:26
These are the words my beautiful Mamá would tell me and would remind me to say them to myself. She was a very wise woman and biblically grounded and driven. I embrace her advice and words of wisdom and will, intentionally, exercise her guidance and say them to myself. I share my Mama's advice and words with you today. 💜🙏🏻
The song playing in the background was one of her favorites. I remember walking into her house and she was washing her big "olla" and belting out this song... My Mamà sang beautifully. I think God called her home to add her angelic voice to the heavenly choir. 🥰🎵🎶

Reflecting on the precious advice my Mamá shared, I've found that her words are not just comforting but truly transformative in daily life. Proverbs 31:26, which highlights speaking with wisdom and kindness, reminds me that these qualities can guide our interactions and decisions even in challenging moments. Each morning, I try to incorporate a ritual I call "Morning Mirror Talk thank," where I stand before the mirror, speak affirmations inspired by her teachings, and express gratitude for another day to practice kindness. This simple act grounds me and prepares me to face my day with intention. I recall the joy in my Mamá’s voice as she sang, often while doing household chores, her spirit radiating through every note. It taught me that embracing joy and expressing oneself freely are vital parts of a fulfilling life. Even now, I find singing uplifting songs boosts my mood and connects me to her memory. Sharing these lessons on kindness, strength, and faith has been a way to honor Mamá’s legacy. Whether you draw inspiration from biblical verses or personal stories, embracing wisdom and spreading kindness can transform our lives and the lives of those around us. This legacy is a beautiful reminder that the guidance from strong, wise women like Mamá remains alive in our hearts and actions.
