Bullying in schools remains a critical issue that affects students' mental health, academic outcomes, and overall well-being. Inspired by the Jamari Terrel Williams Foundation's model, our project emphasizes adopting the Student Bullying Model Policy to ensure that no child is overlooked in bullying prevention efforts, regardless of whether they attend public or private schools. This policy is groundbreaking in its approach to making bullying prevention a universal standard rather than a privilege. It is designed to close the gaps in current educational systems by fostering safe, accountable, and inclusive learning spaces that protect every child. We recognize that bullying manifests both in person and online, and it takes a concerted community effort to address and prevent it effectively. The initiative encourages schools to implement clear protocols for reporting and responding to bullying incidents, ensuring students feel safe to speak up without fear of dismissal or retaliation. Moreover, it highlights the importance of continuous education and awareness programs aimed at building empathy, respect, and resilience among students. By advocating for this model policy, our project also aligns with broader social movements focused on ending bullying (#endbullying), empowering changemakers (#changemaker), and encouraging trust in the process of social change (#trusttheprocess). Personal stories, like those shared from high school experiences of bullying, emphasize the urgency and compassion driving this project. Together, with educators, students, families, and communities, we strive to create environments where every student feels valued and protected, emphasizing that bullying prevention should be a universal right accessible to all schools and learners.
