My first attempt at tapestry crochet!

I want to start an Itachi blanket for my boyfriend by the end of January. I've never done tapestry crochet. So instead of jumping into a huge complicated project (like I usually do lol) I decided to do something small first. I'm glad that I did because I needed practice color changing.
