Braton vandal incarnon build.
#tenno here’s a look at my cold gas build for steel path warframe. Any questions just ask. #warframe #gaming #xbox
Hey everyone, I wanted to dive a bit deeper into why the Braton Vandal Incarnon with a Cold Gas build is truly a force to be reckoned with, especially in the Steel Path. When I first started experimenting, I wasn't sure if this classic rifle could stand up to the end-game challenge, but after some tweaks, it's become one of my favorites for higher difficulty content. First, let's talk about the 'Cold Gas' element combination. This isn't just about raw damage; it's about powerful crowd control and area-of-effect (AoE) potential. Gas damage (Heat + Toxin) creates a corrosive cloud that strips armor and applies status effects, while Cold damage slows enemies and increases critical damage against them. Combining them, or rather, focusing on Gas with a Cold mod, gives you incredible scaling. The Incarnon form itself transforms the Braton Vandal into a devastating weapon, and optimizing those evolutions is key. I personally lean towards evolutions that boost critical chance, critical damage, and fire rate, making it a true hit-scan monster. For mods, I've found a solid balance is crucial. You'll definitely want to start with the essentials: Serration for base damage, Split Chamber for multishot, and then dive into Galvanized mods like Galvanized Aptitude and Galvanized Shot. These scale incredibly well with status effects, which your Cold Gas build will be applying constantly. For the elemental combo, I use Primed Cryo Rounds and Malignant Force (or Rime Rounds if you need more Cold status). Hunter Munitions is almost non-negotiable for Steel Path, as it gives you a reliable source of Slash procs that bypass armor, which is crucial against heavily armored units like those dreaded 'PROTECTOR STALKER' type enemies. Finally, Critical Delay for increased critical chance and Vital Sense for critical damage round out the build, turning every shot into a potential red crit explosion. Remember to tweak your Incarnon evolutions to synergize with these critical stats, either boosting your base crit or adding extra damage. In terms of actual Steel Path performance, this setup shines. The Cold Gas clouds decimate groups of enemies, and the Incarnon mode lets you 'Eliminate enemies to earn bonus' energy or other buffs, especially when you can chain kills. I often find myself activating the Incarnon form and just clearing entire rooms with minimal effort. It handles both Grineer and Corpus exceptionally well, and with a good primer weapon (like a Kuva Nukor with Viral), even the toughest bosses or eximus units don't stand a chance. The Incarnon's alt-fire can be fantastic for bursting down high-priority targets. Don't forget that your playstyle should revolve around keeping your status effects up and making the most of the Incarnon mode's unique properties. You'll often find yourself in a flow state, focusing on targets for the 'next 45s' to maximize your damage output. Give it a try, and you'll see why the Braton Vandal Incarnon is a sleeper pick for Steel Path!
