Nyx prime build

I know how tough Steel Path can be, and after a lot of trial and error, I've really honed in on a setup that makes Nyx Prime truly shine there. It's all about mastering her crowd control and ensuring she can survive the relentless onslaught. My core philosophy for this build revolves around maximizing her ability to chain-cast Chaos (her third ability), which turns enemies against each other, drastically reducing incoming damage and making them easy targets. To achieve this, I prioritize a good balance of Ability Duration and Efficiency. You don't want to run out of energy when you need it most! For mods, I always start with a maxed out Primed Flow and Streamline to keep my energy economy healthy. Then, for duration, mods like Primed Continuity or Narrow Minded are fantastic. While Narrow Minded reduces range, Nyx's Chaos still has a decent base range, and the duration boost is often worth it for Steel Path. If you prefer more area coverage, you might swap Narrow Minded for something like Augur Message or Constitution. For Ability Strength, Transient Fortitude is a great choice without crippling efficiency. If you're feeling brave and have ways to manage energy (like Energizing Dash or Arcane Energize), Blind Rage can significantly boost your Mind Control's power and Absorb's damage output. Don't forget defensive mods! While Chaos is fantastic for crowd control, a bit of extra survivability never hurts. Vitality or Adaptation can make a huge difference against stray bullets. For your Aura slot, Corrosive Projection is almost always a solid choice for Steel Path, helping your team strip enemy armor faster. For the Exilus slot, Cunning Drift or Power Drift can further enhance your range or strength respectively. Speaking of damage, I've found that focusing on weapon choices that complement her abilities is key. For example, using a strong primary weapon with bonus damage modifiers – perhaps one with critical chance or status effects – can really optimize your damage during the brief windows enemies aren't affected by Chaos. And if that "HATE [39]" in the images refers to the Hate scythe, it’s a fantastic melee weapon to pair with her! A well-modded Hate, for instance, can quickly dispatch enemies caught in your crowd control. Remember, Nyx herself isn't a huge damage dealer with her abilities, but she sets enemies up perfectly for you and your team to deliver the finishing blows. My playstyle usually involves casting Chaos frequently, especially when encountering large groups. For those particularly tough enemies or Eximus units, a well-placed Mind Control can turn them into a temporary ally, drawing fire and dealing damage. Absorb is my panic button – it makes you invulnerable, perfect for reviving teammates or repositioning in a sticky situation. Just remember to release it strategically to deal burst damage! This Nyx Prime build isn't just about surviving; it's about controlling the battlefield and making Steel Path feel less like a grind and more like a tactical dance.
