Focus your eyes on jesus🌸

Jehoshaphat was going into battle with 3 other armies. He knew that he couldn’t do it on his own he knew he didn’t have the power to fight against his enemies. He told God in prayer that he was to set his eyes on Jesus because he was powerless without Him.

Jesus wants you to set his eyes onto him. Jesus loves you and wants a relationship with you. When we go through struggles and things seem impossible trust that the Lord will bring you out of it and that you will get something out of what you are going through.

Love the word of God keep a relationship with the live word of God. Let Him reveal something to you. ✝️💕🎟️🎀🌸

... Read moreI remember reading 2 Chronicles 20, especially verses 21-22, and feeling like it was written just for me during a really tough time. My heart resonated with King Jehoshaphat's story. He was facing an overwhelming situation – a "vast number that fight against us," as the scripture describes. Honestly, there have been moments in my life where I’ve felt just as outnumbered and powerless, wondering, "We don't know what to do, but our eyes are on you," just like he prayed in 2 Chronicles 20:12. What struck me most wasn't just his prayer for help, but what he did *next*. Before the battle even began, Jehoshaphat appointed singers to go out ahead of the army, praising God! Can you imagine? Instead of strategizing with weapons, he chose worship. And guess what? As they began to sing and praise, the Lord set ambushes against their enemies. It wasn't their strength, their strategy, or their numbers that won the day; it was their unwavering focus on God and their act of faith and praise. This completely shifted my perspective on how to approach my own 'battles.' This passage taught me a profound "Way to set your eyes" on Jesus, especially when things feel impossible. I've found these practices incredibly helpful in my own walk: Prayer and Guidance: Just like Jehoshaphat sought God, I've learned to spend dedicated time in prayer, seeking His presence and guidance. It’s not just about asking for things, but truly pouring out my heart, admitting my weaknesses, and listening. It’s a moment to confess, "I don't know what to do," and actively place my trust in Him. This act of surrender brings an incredible peace. Engage with Scripture: Regularly engaging with the Word of God, letting it speak to my situation, has been a lifeline. It’s where I find promises, wisdom, and reassurance. When I read stories like Jehoshaphat’s, I’m reminded of God’s faithfulness throughout history, building my own faith. Worship and Thanksgiving: This is where 2 Chronicles 20:21-22 truly comes alive for me. Jehoshaphat didn't wait for victory to praise; he praised before the victory. I’ve started making it a point to engage in personal and communal worship, lifting my heart in praise and thanksgiving to Jesus, even when circumstances are bleak. There's something powerful about choosing gratitude and worship in the midst of struggle; it shifts the atmosphere and my own focus. It's hard to be anxious when you're genuinely thanking God for His goodness. Community/Fellowship: The journey of faith isn't meant to be walked alone. Surrounding myself with other believers who encourage and support my faith has been invaluable. They are the ones who remind me to "Follow Jesus' example by serving others" and to keep "Your Eyes Keep Fixed OD JESUS" when my vision gets blurry. They pray with me, share their own experiences, and help me to see God's hand even in difficult situations. Embracing these steps has completely changed how I navigate challenges. Instead of feeling overwhelmed by the "vast number" of problems, I now consciously choose to fix my eyes on Jesus, knowing that He is my King, my strength, and my deliverer. It’s a daily practice, but it's one that consistently brings peace and ultimate victory.
