Hard pills to swallow
I wish I learned what this meant a long time ago. I am so passionate about everything and expect everyone else to be as well. I get disappointed easily and fight battles within myself that I never caused. I remember realizing what it meant by saying “people don’t have the same heart as you” that one cut deep but the one that cut even deeper than that was
“A lot of things broke my heart but fixed my vision”
That pill was hard to swallow. I have always realized that no matter how well you do or how nice you are to people, someone somewhere will 💩 on you.
I guess what I’m trying to say is Just be kind to people, you have no idea what demons they’re fighting 💓
I am the person on the other side- I’m the one who gets the shaft in most situations but I’m thankful I’m strong enough to carry the load. Let’s normalize being nice to people again.
