Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri 🌙✨
Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri 🌙✨
Maaf zahir dan batin.
Semoga hari yang mulia ini membawa keberkatan, kebahagiaan, dan mengeratkan silaturahim sesama kita.
Semoga Allah SWT menerima segala amalan kita.
Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri is more than just a greeting; it’s a meaningful expression of forgiveness, gratitude, and celebration marking the end of Ramadan. When I first learned the phrase, I appreciated that “Selamat” means safe or blessed, while “Hari Raya” literally means a celebratory day, and “Aidilfitri” refers to the completion of fasting. So together, it sends warm wishes for a blessed and joyful Eid. Many Muslims say “Maaf zahir dan batin” during this time, asking for forgiveness both outwardly and inwardly, which deepens the spirit of reconciliation and renewal. The powerful Arabic phrases featured in greetings or decorations, such as “Taqabbalallahu minna wa minkum” (May Allah accept from us and you), reinforce the spiritual bond and hope for divine acceptance of one’s deeds. From my experience, Eid is not only a religious event but also a moment to strengthen family ties and friendships by sharing food, stories, and prayers. Traditional sayings shared around the world capture the essence of humility and gratefulness to Allah, emphasizing praise like “La ilaha illallah” and “Allahu Akbar.” Understanding these meanings helped me appreciate the cultural and spiritual richness of Eid celebrations worldwide and reminded me of the importance of compassion and unity during this sacred time.
