Patches @ HL✨

... Read moreOh my goodness, fellow crafters! My recent trip to Hobby Lobby turned into a treasure hunt for patches, and let me tell you, they did not disappoint! I was absolutely blown away by the sheer variety of iron-on, sew-on, and sticker patches available. If you're looking to personalize anything – from clothing to accessories – you absolutely have to check out their collection. First off, I spotted some adorable cherry iron-ons that are just begging to be added to a denim jacket. Then there were these super trendy boba iced coffee sticker patches and even a spicy sriracha bottle design that made me laugh! They had so many fun and unique options. For those who love to customize, the letter patches were a huge highlight. I saw a fantastic range of varsity letters, perfect for spelling out names, initials, or even a fun word like 'PIT' with the JOY brand patches I found. Imagine these on a backpack or a plain hoodie! Beyond the iron-ons, there were also fantastic sticker patches from 'THE paperSTUDIO' like cute checkered hearts, vibrant bows, and even sparkly stars from 'DESIGN Loft'. These are brilliant for quick, no-sew projects, adding flair to planners, or for younger crafters. I'm already picturing a plain canvas tote bag covered in those cute bow-shaped patches or a pair of jeans jazzed up with some of the more artistic designs. I'm so excited to start making some t-shirts, bags, and hats with these amazing finds. The possibilities are endless! For instance, those 'Thing 1 and Thing 2' style patches would be perfect for a themed event or a fun gift. Most of the iron-on patches are super easy to apply – just a hot iron and a little pressure, and you've got instant customization. For items that get a lot of wear, like kid's clothing or jeans, I always recommend adding a few stitches around the edge of iron-on patches for extra durability. But for a quick refresh or a temporary design, the sticker patches are a dream! Hobby Lobby really has everything you need to kickstart your next wearable art project. Have you found any cool patches there lately? What have you made?
