✨Budget friendly✨Aldi Meals!

Part I | Aldi Meal Plan

Effort Level: Easy

Cost: $ Low

No. of Ingredients: Minimal

Easy peasy, affordable meals and snacks to smash your week. Five days, each day costs less than $10 at @Aldi so you don’t have to break the bank 🏦

These are recipes you can make when you need a yummy meal in a pinch, or maybe you just haven’t reached your cooking era yet.. and that’s okay 🫶

Here are my tips 📝

✍️Green or Mint Tea daily

✍️Use the same ingredients for different meals for variety

(I call this component meal prepping. So you never have the same boxed meal over and over.)

✍️Fresh fruit, veg and protein daily

*HOWEVER - it is not necessary for you to drown yourself in protein. If you can’t get a large amount in every meal, that’s okay 👌

✍️Rice, quinoa, sweet potato and sourdough are my go to complex carbs for energy

✍️Check your pantry before you shop. You may have some of these ingredients already

🍵Green Smoothie: I often add matcha and almond butter to mine

🍜Add ginger, miso and garlic to warming soups for gut health and anti inflammatory benefits

🧂Keep seasonings simple. My go tos are sea salt, black pepper, garlic herb, and veg stock cubes.

🥛I use homemade oat and almond milk for breakfasts and coffee, and coconut milk for soups

🥜For snacks, I grab mixed nuts and seeds, lesser evil popcorn, fresh fruit, dates, edamame and chickpeas

Any questions? I’d love to hear from you! Drop me a note below 💌 I’ll see you in part II ✌️

... Read moreCreating a budget-friendly meal plan doesn’t mean sacrificing taste or nutrition. Shopping at Aldi offers an excellent opportunity to save money on wholesome ingredients that are versatile and easy to prepare. For example, this meal plan includes five days of meals — each costing less than $10 — featuring options like miso soup, salmon bowls, and lentil soup. Using ingredients such as salmon, tofu, and pumpkin seeds provides a good balance of protein and healthy fats to fuel your body through the day. Adding ginger, garlic, and miso to soups not only boosts flavor but also supports gut health and reduces inflammation. Plus, incorporating green or mint tea daily helps with hydration and antioxidants. Meal prepping with a core set of ingredients like rice, quinoa, sweet potatoes, and sourdough bread allows for variety without extra cost or waste. Snacks like mixed nuts, seeds, edamame, chickpeas, fruit, and lesser evil popcorn keep you energized between meals. Homemade plant-based milks, such as oat, almond, and coconut milk, add creaminess and nutrients to breakfasts and soups. To save even more, always check your pantry before shopping to use what you already have. Simplifying seasonings to essentials like sea salt, black pepper, garlic herb, and vegetable stock cubes keeps cooking accessible and delicious. By focusing on fresh fruit, vegetables, protein, and complex carbs, this Aldi meal plan helps you stay nourished and energized while staying within a low budget. Whether you are new to cooking or just want quick, fuss-free meals, this plan is designed to be easy to follow and adaptable to your tastes and pantry inventory. Feel free to customize with your favorite Aldi finds to make this plan uniquely yours.
