Training Diaries: Thanos > Hawkeye

If we're drawing comparisons.. we've got a guy with a bow and arrow vs a cosmic titan who can warp reality. Let's be real, which one wins?

How to get your forever body, training for "Thanos" strength 💪 and fat loss. 4 weeks, Total Body Recomposition. It was requested that I create a weight loss version of my plan, so let's dive in.

Estimated target:

➡️ 1,650–1,850 calories/day

This range supports:

• 4–5 days lifting

• Light cardio / steps

• Fat loss without muscle loss

Structure

• 3 meals + 1 snack daily

• Protein focus at every meal

• Carbs intentional, not banned

• Desserts included (mindful)

📝Notes for Weight Loss (not misery)

✅ Protein first, carbs second, fats measured — every meal

✅ Repeat meals = easier deficit

✅ Strength training > endless cardio

✅ Scale trends matter NOT daily numbers

✅ If energy drops → eat more, not less

✅ If digestion flares → simplify meals, not restrict harder

✅ If hunger spikes → add more veg or protein first, not extra treats

◦ Have a cup or 2 of peppermint

tea throughout the day <3

This is weight loss that protects your body, not punishes it. You’re not shrinking yourself — you’re supporting her.

TL:DR (Read This 💛)

This plan works because:

• Protein is consistent

• Carbs are controlled, not feared

• Desserts are intentional

• You’re lifting weights

What stood out most to me is the emphasis on balancing macronutrients—prioritizing protein first to maintain muscle, followed by controlled carbs rather than banning them outright, which helps sustain energy levels and workout performance. In my experience following similar approaches, consistency with protein intake really helped me maintain strength during my workouts, even while in a calorie deficit. Incorporating strength training 4 to 5 times per week, rather than relying heavily on cardio, preserved muscle tone much better and boosted metabolic rate. The inclusion of mindful desserts, like protein brownie balls or banana bread made with wholesome ingredients, was also a wonderful morale booster. It’s a reminder that dieting doesn't have to mean deprivation. Rather than feeling restricted, having a small treat helped me stay focused and satisfied. The workout split detailed in the plan—alternating lower and upper body days and including mobility and light cardio sessions—promotes recovery and balanced muscle development. I found that incorporating pilates or mobility exercises on active rest days helped reduce stiffness and improve range of motion during lifting days. Tracking progress with a workout and meal log, like the one suggested, encourages accountability and gives insight into what’s working or needs tweaking. Also, the practical tips—like paying attention to scale trends instead of daily fluctuations, increasing food intake if energy drops, and simplifying meals if digestion becomes an issue—resonate deeply with managing a sustainable, realistic fitness lifestyle. Finally, hydration, quality sleep, and regular stretching mentioned in the plan are often overlooked but are critical for recovery and overall well-being during any fitness journey. The plan's structure feels holistic and adaptable, especially for those who want fat loss without sacrificing muscle or quality of life.
