5 How to use a computer to be safe

There are good things and scary things online! 💀 Our personal information is also an important target of crooks. Today, let's take a look at five simple tricks that will help make our computers safer.

1. Set the password to be strong. 💪

Passwords should not be easy to guess! They should consist of a combination of small-large letters, numbers, and symbols. Most importantly, they should not be duplicated on many accounts. If you can't remember, try the Password Manager.

2. Update the software to date. 🔄

Don't ignore operating system updates (Windows / macOS) and programs like web browsers, because each update usually comes with a major security vulnerability fix, like vaccinating our computers.

3. Be careful of foreign links and emails. 🎣

If an unfamiliar email or message is sent, don't rush to click! Notice the sender's name and content well, because crooks often use the Phishing method to trick us into pressing links or downloading dangerous files.

4. Install the virus scan program. 🛡️

Antivirus and malware programs are like watchguards in our digital world, should install reliable programs and regularly scan computers to detect and eliminate threats.

5. Always back up important information. 💾

Our important data, such as images, documents or job files, should always be backed up in a secure place, such as on Cloud Storage (Google Drive, Dropbox) or External Hard Disk. If unforeseen events occur, our data will not disappear.

Conclusion: Keeping computers safe is not difficult. Just pay attention and follow these simple tricks, so we can be sure that our data is safe from online dangers!

Does anyone use any techniques? Or is there any way to recommend more? Let's share! 👇
