You have to get brutally honest:
Are you holding yourself to the same standard you expect from them? Or are you also leaving your clothes on the floor and then yelling because they didn’t pick theirs up?
You have to become obsessed with yourself. That takes deep reflection.
And you have to drop the excuses that blame him for holding you back.
Raise your own standard, and watch them rise to meet it.
And if they still don’t step up?
Well… now you’re empowered, obsessed with yourself, and you know you deserve more.
