Sekhmet was born to Ra and his wife Ptah. She is sister to Bast. Sekhmet is goddess of war, healing, and plagues. She is a Solar goddess and depicted to wear the head of a lion. Her Father Ra would send her to punish humans and humans who went against Ra, however Sekhmet would go rogue and kill almost anyone. In one instance Ra turned her into a cow to get her to calm down. Sekhmet almost ended humanity during another rampage.
Sekhmet helps with healing, vengeance, and support. Offerings for her are Red Alcohols, images of cats or lions, candles, spicy foods, red gemstones or milk. Her colors are Dark blood Red, or red in general.
