MY IOS 18 CUSTOM CONTROL CENTER

The photos are cut off from seeing the whole control center BUT you can see the majority of it! I don’t see too much inspo on here YET on the new IOS 18 update for the customizable control center so here is mine for some inspo!

The app i used for my name/bf name to show up and extra “controls” is iScreen on the app store.

Mico is another app you can use to customize the control center but it has less available features compared to iScreen.

If you want a full tour of how i customized my phone and what apps/widgets I use please let me know!!

I hope this inspires you and i can’t wait to see more inspo on here!

I also personally removed the full music page and the connections page because when i swipe up i want to close out of the control center instead of scrolling down.

... Read moreHey everyone! Seeing so many of you excited about iOS 18's new customization features, especially the Control Center, I wanted to dive a bit deeper into how I made mine truly unique and share some practical tips. My main goal was to make my iPhone feel more 'me' and incredibly efficient, without endless swiping. First off, getting started with Control Center customization is super easy. Just head to your Settings app, scroll down to 'Control Center,' and you'll see a list of 'Included Controls' and 'More Controls.' This is where the magic begins! I spent some time thinking about what I use most frequently throughout my day. For instance, I always keep 'Do Not Disturb' right at the top for quick access, which is a lifesaver for focused work or a good night's sleep. One of my favorite hacks, which you might have seen in my setup, is using third-party apps like iScreen to really push the boundaries. While Apple gives you a great foundation, iScreen allows you to create truly custom controls. For example, I've added quick access buttons for things like tracking my 'Water' intake, deciding 'What to Eat?' with a random generator, or even a fun 'The Book of Answers' shortcut for a bit of daily whimsy. It’s not just about functionality; it’s about making your Control Center visually appealing too, with custom icons and even personalized text labels. I've seen some amazing setups where people replace standard icons with custom images, or even add personalized text (like you might see with initials or a short name) to make it uniquely theirs. Another app I briefly mentioned, Mico, offers similar features, though I found iScreen had a bit more depth for the specific custom controls I was looking for. These apps are fantastic for those 'extra' controls that aren't natively available, giving you almost limitless possibilities for your Control Center. Now, about that 'swipe' experience. I personally found that having multiple pages in the Control Center meant I was often swiping down to access things or accidentally scrolling through music/connections pages when all I wanted was to close it. My solution was to really curate my 'Included Controls' list. I removed the full music page and the connections page because I prefer to access those via widgets or directly from the apps. This way, when I swipe up to open my Control Center, I see exactly what I need, and a quick upward swipe closes it without any extra navigation. It makes the whole interaction much snappier! Don't be afraid to experiment! Drag and drop controls to reorder them based on your priority. If you're into broader 'home screen customization', remember that your Control Center is an extension of that. Think about how it complements your widgets and app layout. The goal is to create a seamless experience across your entire iPhone. It’s all about making your iPhone work smarter for you, reflecting your personality and making your daily tasks just a little bit easier and more enjoyable. Give these tips a try and let me know what unique controls you come up with!
