Is it true you need to clean your dishwasher？
After doing research online, noticing the “clean washer” setting on my machine, and seeing the Affresh tablets at the store, I've been using them to clean my washing machine and dishwasher once a month, as they say. But my family thinks that I’m stupid for doing that. They say that since you use detergent and bleach every time you use them, they clean themselves. In other words, you clean them every time you wash dishes or do laundry. I asked, “Well, why does my machine have a ‘clean washer’ setting, then?” Their rebuttal? “The more settings manufacturers put on appliances, the more money comes out of their pocket. So in turn, the more they charge you upfront for them.” They think it’s all a wasteful, money-making gimmick.
So tell me, is it true you need to clean these things?

So my maintenance man recommends it as food can get stuck in the small vents and cause bacteria and sometimes an unfindable smell. He recommended me every six months or you can wait a year!
