Example sentence used when the child refuses to collect
Examples of sentences are used for situations where the child refuses to pack, selected for ages 3-7 and emphasized, not forced, not fierce, but also clear boundaries.
1) When you are indifferent, act like you can't hear.
Target: Draw attention + invite, don't order.
• "Mom, help me. Which box should this car go home?"
• "Let's collect the first 5 pieces together first?"
• "I choose to collect the big one or the small one first."
2) When you say, "Don't want to keep / lazy."
Target: Accept feelings, but not undo storage.
• "I know I still want to play, but now it's time to pack."
• "I don't want to keep it, but at least we keep it together for two minutes."
• "I don't have to like collecting, but we still have to."
3) When you start to bend and cry
Goal: Reduce mood first, not speed up work.
