The Glow-Up Got Put on Pause… NOT CANCELED 😮💨✨
A Little Life Update 🥹💕
Whew… I’ve been away from Lemon8 for a minute! But honestly, life has been LIFE-ING. 😂
I celebrated my birthday on 07/17 🎂✨, took 5 classes over the summer 📚, and spent the summer being the best auntie I could be to my teenage niece and nephew. 🥰❤️
Then just like that… I sent my three babies back to school! 🎒📚 And now I have TWO more classes starting in a week before I take the next big step and apply to a healthcare-related program. 🤞🏾✨
So yes, I’ve been busy—but I haven’t forgotten about ME. ❤️
I’m ready to start beefing up my content again, sharing more of my health & fitness journey, staying accountable, and hopefully motivating someone else along the way. 🏋🏾♀️🥗✨
Here’s to getting back on track, taking care of myself, chasing my goals, and keeping this health journey ALIVE! 👏🏾💪🏾
I’m back, y’all! Let’s get into it. 😮💨🔥

Taking a break from your fitness and wellness journey can sometimes feel discouraging, but it’s important to remember that it's perfectly normal to pause and reset when life gets busy. Over the summer, I was caught up juggling multiple responsibilities—celebrating my birthday, completing five classes, and spending quality time with my teenage niece and nephew. Now, as I send my three children back to school and prepare for two more academic courses, I realize how vital it is to keep my health goals alive even amidst this hectic schedule. One thing that helped me stay motivated was incorporating simple yet effective activities into my daily routine. For example, I found that walking or running 3 miles regularly, even on busy days, helped clear my mind and boost my energy. Preparing healthy meals and staying hydrated ensured I could keep up with both academic and family demands without feeling overwhelmed. I also discovered the power of accountability by sharing my health journey with others online—sometimes just posting my progress keeps me on track. Whether you have a packed calendar or unexpected life events, remember that a 'pause' does not mean a cancellation. Instead, it’s a chance to reassess and come back stronger. If you’re balancing education, family, and wellness like me, try setting small achievable goals. Celebrate little wins like completing that 3-mile walk or choosing a nutritious snack over temptation. These small steps accumulate and eventually lead to a meaningful glow-up in both mind and body. In essence, this journey is about resilience and self-care. No matter what life throws your way, keeping your wellness journey alive is possible and rewarding. I’m excited to share more tips and stay connected as I continue chasing my goals—let’s motivate each other every step of the way!
