... Read moreMy recent trip to Vail was a dream, and while the slopes are amazing, I also discovered some fantastic spots for those moments when you need to catch up on work or just relax. One place that truly stood out was Treff Café. Nestled right in the heart of Vail Village, Treff Café quickly became my go-to. I loved settling into one of their cozy window seats – the view of the snowy street and pine trees outside was absolutely magical. It’s the perfect backdrop for a productive morning. Their café latte was a lifesaver, and I highly recommend pairing it with one of their fresh, flaky ham and cheese croissants. It’s a simple breakfast, but utterly delicious and satisfying. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it an ideal spot whether you’re traveling solo and need some quiet time, or you’re with family and need a quick break. They have great Wi-Fi, too, which is a huge plus if you’re trying to squeeze in some remote work like I was. Beyond Treff Café, Vail Village itself is a treasure trove of experiences. After my work session, I loved wandering through the charming cobblestone streets. Even if you're not shopping, the architecture and ambiance are worth soaking in. One afternoon, I stumbled upon a beautiful walking trail that followed a clear stream. The sound of the water, surrounded by snow-covered banks and towering pine trees, was incredibly peaceful. It felt like stepping into a postcard. These hidden natural gems are easily accessible and offer a wonderful contrast to the bustling village. Speaking of treats, you absolutely can’t skip a visit to Häagen-Dazs. Their dulce de leche sundae was the perfect indulgent reward after a day of exploring. There are so many fantastic dining options in Vail. While AlpenRose was a fantastic choice for a hearty dinner with a view of the snowy village, I’m already planning to try a few more unique local eateries on my next visit. From casual cafes to upscale dining, Vail really offers something for every palate. My tip for anyone visiting Vail, especially if you need to balance vacation with a bit of work, is to embrace the blend. Find a lovely cafe like Treff, enjoy the delicious local offerings, and then step out to immerse yourself in the stunning alpine environment. Whether it's a leisurely stroll, enjoying the mountain views, or hitting the slopes, Vail provides the perfect setting for both productivity and pure relaxation. I can't wait to go back and discover even more of what this beautiful Colorado destination has to offer!

I love Vail!! Have you stopped into Cos Bar yet? They have the coolest skincare! It’s one of my favorite places to drop into to try sample and see what new makeup they have 🥰
